On Monday, July 20, the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council hosted their seventh annual Access to Capital and Telecommunications Policy Conference in Washington, DC. The program included keynotes and panel discussions from some of the most influential voices at the forefront of the crossroads between broadband and minority community issues. Speakers included Walter McCormick, CEO of the United States Telecom Association; Rey Ramsey, Chairman and CEO of One Economy Corp.; Deborah Taylor Tate, former FCC Commissioner; and many more.
