In this time of joy and reflection, we at NextGenWeb hope you’ll take a moment to think about all of the ways that broadband plays a role in our busy and connected modern lives. Broadband is something we often take for granted. In fact, even if you plan to “go offline” for the holidays, I’ll bet you still use broadband for things like checking in for flights, uploading family photos and videos, buying tickets to the movies, and sneaking a peak at your work email when nobody is looking.
It’s always on, just like you are.
But remember that a big year for broadband is ahead of us in 2010! The National Broadband Plan is entering its final stages and the broadband providers are hopeful that the plan enables them to continue to deliver and expand the high-speed Internet infrastructure that is moving American innovation, ingenuity and (hopefully) economic growth forward.
With these reflections, we at NextGenWeb wish you a happy and safe holiday and a connected, healthy and prosperous new year!!!
