Transatlantic Perspectives on Broadband Policy
NextGenWeb recently traveled to the National Press Club to attend an event hosted by the Technology Policy Institute and the Center for European Policy Studies titled “Transatlantic Perspectives on Broadband Policy”. During the forum, speakers discussed different approaches to broadband policy along with their successes and failures. Thomas Hazlett, a Professor of Law and Economics at George Mason University, discussed the benefits of deregulation and statistics pointing to rapid growth in the broadband industry as a result.
