C-SPAN was suppose to cover it I think but I haven't seen it. Based on their press release, i think this site will be covering all the debates.

There is nothing at all partisan about America's imperative need for energy independence -- why, then, was Congressman Steve Israel's Next Generation Energy Security Initiative, many actionable elements of which were clearly stated duirng the course of the debate, not acknowledged and endorsed by the Republicans? Congressman Israel is absolutely correct in stating that energy independence is not merely an economic and environmental issue -- it is, in fact, a matter of national security. I cannot for the life of me understand why the common sense solutions the Congressman has proposed are not wholeheartedly endorsed by Members on both sides of the aisle.

In addition to posting this on the internet, will the debate also air on television -- maybe, C-SPAN?

Debates and discussions are always helpful. It must be noted that we have been listening to, and giving in to the Republicans since 1980. That is why the economy, the armed forces, the energy policy, health insurance, the housing market, jobs prospects, and our reputation around the world are in the huge problems they are. Please continue debating, AND THEN VOTE FOR LEGISLATION THAT REVERSES EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO US AS AMERICANS AND TO OUR COUNTRY IN THE LAST EIGHT YEARS.
