Lisa Hamlin Discusses the Benefits of Broadband to the Disabled Community
NextGenWeb recently attended an event hosted by the Alliance for Public Technology titled “Digital Communication in the 21st Century: Ensuring Access by People with Disabilities”. The event was focused on different technologies that are being utilized by the disabled community in order to ensure smoother communication. Many of these technologies rely on broadband to ensure applications such as internet relay, internet captioning and instant messaging perform to their best capability.
