CAWI serves local rural communities in central Illinois. We use wireless equipment to distribute broadband to previously unconnected or under-connected areas of the state.

The benefits of putting broadband in the hands of those living in rural areas are numerous.

  • It will allow farmers to better manage their businesses.
  • Children will be able to use the Net for learning remotely.
  • People will be able to stay connected with families and friends.
  • Telecommuting will allow people to work from home, making it feasible to move out of cities and helping to keep people in smaller communities.
